Exciting: Blender Sverchok Nodes for Speckle (coming soon)

We are so excited about this that we felt we can write a blog post already :) Thanks to Prof. Wassim Jabi (@topologicBIM [https://twitter.com/topologicBIM/]) and J. We are so excited about this that we felt we can write a blog post already :) Thanks to Prof. Wassim Jabi (@topologicBIM) and J. Staub (Ripcord Engineering), we're going to soon see some node-based Speckle fun in Sverchok, Blender's visual programming environment.

Topologic can now communicate with @SpeckleSystems from within sverchok. I know they have a Blender connector, but it is not expressed as sverchok nodes and has some limitations (eg user-defined custom attributes not included) (w/ J. Staub, Ripcord Engineering) pic.twitter.com/ttGzEzBEDU

We can't wait to see where this goes, though we do see some some extra experiments that are driving this!

Roundtrip! @SpeckleSystems is really cool. I am able to receive a 3D model from Revit/Dynamo, build the correct Topologic CellComplex with Apertures, create the energy mode, export to gbxml string, and send that back to Speckle in its own branch with full reference to its source. pic.twitter.com/MkhmKr005a

Don't forget to follow @topologicBIM for updates - this is really important, as they keep coming quite fast:
