New features for Speckle server admins

Hey there Speckle server administrators! To make your life a bit easier, we've just added two new panels to the server administration page. One that lets you batch send server invites, and another, that helps with server user management.

Invite multiple users

Since the Invite panel only allows entering one email at a time, inviting more than a few users to Speckle server used to be a bit of a chore.‌‌ ‌‌Well not anymore! For server admins, there is a new Server invites panel in the Server Admin page.‌‌‌‌ It allows you to set a custom invitation message, just like the individual invite panel, but the email field now accepts multiple email addresses separated by commas or spaces.
It even works, with data copy-pasted from a spreadsheet.‌‌‌‌

You can also select a stream you are owner of from the stream search bar, to automatically add each invited user as a collaborator.‌‌‌‌Now, onboarding the whole design team on a project with Speckle only takes minutes.

In the future, we'll work on adding the ability to manage invites that have been sent already. For example, resend an invite to someone who was already invited but lost the invitation, or check if the invite was used or not.‌‌‌‌Can think of additional features you would like to see on this page? User management

Enough with the SQL queries, when you need to make another user admin on your server!

The new Users panel enables admins to view, search and edit server user details. The search bar can filter users based on name, email and company so finding a certain group of users should be pretty straightforward.

The new dropdown allows you to switch the role of a given user to the almighty Admin role.

Please be conscious about who you give Admin powers to! Every admin user has access to all the server resources.‌‌

Bonus, you can use the link to share, save, reuse the exact user view.
